Experienced riders Shaun O’Donnell and Peter Hall were the big movers on the Biojohn Frank Treen Medallion Leaderboard after Saturday’s Festival of Perth Racing Ascot meeting, with both riders scooping the feature races between them.
O’Donnell was rode a perfectly judged race, guiding Impressive Jeuney to an all the way win in the Listed Seacorp W.A. St. Ledger, and then had to be at his best to lift Castletown Keys over the line, after travelling three wide throughout in her Starstruck Classic victory.
Peter Hall meanwhile continued his good run on rejuvenated galloper Proart, thanks to a copybook ride in the Group 3 A.J Scahill Stakes, earning 3 points taking his total to 5.
Hall joins Steven Parnham, Troy Tuner and Nash Rawiller on 5 points, while Alan Kennedy remains the overall leader despite being suspended until December 22.
The Bio-John Frank Treen Medallion Gold Breeches will not be seen until there is an outright leader competing at the meeting.
