Today Race 3 at the 2011 Magic Millions Race Day has been won by longer priced roughie Femina Fashion who stormed home to claim a very impressive all-the-way victory in the $170,000 Magic Millions Stayers Cup (1800m).

Repeating her strong performance from her last start win at Randwick, local Gold Coast-trained Shamardal mare Femina Fashion took to the front early and in a brilliant staying performance held on to make it back-to-back victories.

On the line it was Femina Fashion ($14 Luxbet) two lengths ahead of a gallant Pepperwood with the $4 favourite Fusakeo coming in third for trainer Gai Waterhouse.

After a delayed start following #10 Brave The Way having to be removed from the barriers before eventually re-entering, Chilled was first out of the gates on the inside.

When the field settled, Femina Fashion and jockey Glyn Schofield hit the front with Agnes Dream in second.

On the home straight, despite challenges from many of the runners, Femina Fashion knuckled down and continued to draw away winning in fine style.

Making up lots of ground after finding the rail from their wide draw, Pepperwood finished a gallant second.

Femina Fashion has now won five of her 21 career starts for over $338,000 in prize money.
