In the early stages of betting for the 2011 Millie Fox Stakes there’s plenty of value if you’re willing to have a long range punt.

As expected, the favourite for the Group 3 event is Graceful Anna after her second behind More Joyous last start.

Graceful Anna is at a good value $5, just half a point clear of the barnstorming Dances On Waves.

She was nowhere near this quality of field this time last year but with three wins in a row over November / December people are expecting big things first up.

Two points further back are Marquardt and Montana Flyer which both have the ability but recent runs have been less than impressive. However there are a good deal of punters tipping them to bounce back this weekend, especially given the good barriers.

Moving further back into the field we find Jersey Lily and Palacio De Cristal both hovering on the $10 mark with punters cautious of their two last start flops.

Sacred Choice has managed to field some support at $11 despite carrying the top weight by a considerable margin and drawing an outside gate.

At the front though we can see no reason why Graceful Anna and Dances On Waves won’t be battling it out down the main straight.

Our tip is for Graceful Anna to get it by half a length with her last start second experience proving the difference.

In third we’ve looked for a bit of value and found it split between two horses at $17.

It’s your choice between Lovemelikearock and Hidden Wonder, both have form justifying them as a solid each way chance.
