The final field and barrier draw has been announced for the 2012 Toy Show Quality, which is due to run at Warwick Farm Racecourse this Saturday August 25, 2012.
Steps In Time is one of 13 horses included in the final field.
The five-year-old mare featured prominently in the autumn carnival, where she won the Group 2 Thoroughbred Breeder’s Classic and the Listed Wiggle Stakes.
Steps In Time has won five of her nine race starts and has earned more than $345,000 in prize money.
The Danehill Dancer mare has drawn barrier 12 for the 2012 Toy Show Quality and will be ridden by jockey James McDonald.
Aliyana Tilde will also run in the 2012 Toy Show Quality this weekend, with the four-year-old having her first spring run in the race.
The Snitzel mare placed third in the Group 1 Vinery Stud Stakes behind Mosheen and Streama two starts back, before posting a close second in the Group 1 Australian Oaks last run.
Trainer Kerry Parker is hopeful Aliyana Tilde is able to handle the move from three-year-old restricted races.
Should the mare prove her class in the 2012 Toy Show Quality, Parker is looking towards races such as the $2.5 million Caulfield Cup and Group 1 Emirates Stakes.
“It’s a big step up from three-year-old fillies to open company,” he said.
“I don’t know if she’s up to a Caulfield Cup.
“She runs in the Toy Show and then we’ll work out how to get to the Epsom.
“We’ll play it by ear and let her tell us.”
Crafty Irna and Miss Stellabelle are also included in the 2012 Toy Show Quality final field and barrier draw.
