Formality has produced an impressive kick to overcome race favourite Alizee on the line in the Group 2 Silver Shadow Stakes this afternoon.
Kerrin McEvoy allowed the filly to take up the running after jumping well and set a reasonable tempo for the small field.
Locking in a fierce sprint battle with Alizee, the Fastnet Rock filly appeared to be dropping off the pace with 200m to travel, but produced an impressive late kick to fight back and win the race.

Auvray has produced a big turn of foot in the final straight at Randwick to win the Randwick Mayor’s Cup this afternoon.
Jockey Glyn Schofield settled the veteran at the tail of the small field and enjoyed a carefree run as Zero To Ten, Get On The Grange and More Moet traded early hits on pace.
Working through the field as the group rounded onto the final straight, the Le Havre gelding appeared to have too much work in running down resounding favourite Sayed, but continued to fight and hit the lead in the final strides of the race.

My Tagosan has outclassed his rivals to post a comfortable win in this afternoon’s Highway Handicap; beating perennial bridesmaid Last Try Wins by two lengths.
Jockey Hugh Bowman settled My Tagoson off the early pace set by Zardabba, Vee Eight and Force Of Magic and enjoyed a carefree run in transit.
Offered a clear racing line upon arriving at the final straight, the Octagonal gelding produced a smart turn of foot and comfortably put away his rivals with 200m to travel.

Comin’ Through has returned to racing in the best way possible this afternoon; leading from start to finish to win Race 4 at Randwick this afternoon.
Jumping from the gates well, jockey Michael Walker led the Fastnet Rock entire to the pace and the horse had an extremely easy time at the fore of the field.
Jogging clear of his rivals upon arriving at the final straight, the result never appeared in doubt and the horse is sure to take plenty of benefit from the run ahead of bigger spring targets.

Three-year-old Dracarys has produced an impressive turn of foot to win the Group 3 Up And Coming Stakes from Gold Standard.
The colt was forgotten in betting markets in the hours leading up to jump, but stamped himself as one to watch through the forthcoming Spring Carnival with an impressive all-round performance.
Godolphin runner Sanctioned faded late in the race to finish third, but is sure to take plenty of benefit from the hit-out.

Champion mare Winx has given punters, racing fans and connections the scare of a lifetime this afternoon; missing the start and flying home late to score a narrow win over Foxplay in the Warwick Stakes.
Winx gave her rivals a start of more than five lengths and was forced to settle at the tail of the Warwick Stakes field, but jockey Hugh Bowman remained calm on the mare and that paid dividends when she charged home to win by a short nose.
Foxplay is in line for a glittering Spring Carnival campaign after her close second, while Ecuador boxed on well for third.

Sweet Redemption has led from start to finish to win the Group 3 Toy Show Quality (1300m) at Randwick this afternoon.
Striding clear of the rails draw this afternoon, the Snitzel mare took up the running and set a quick tempo for the classy field of mares.
Storming clear upon arriving at the final straight, Sweet Redemption tired in the dying stages of the race, but had opened a healthy-enough gap on her rivals to be crowned the winner.

Deploy has beaten The Virginian on the line in the Group 3 Show County Quality (1200m) this afternoon in track record time.
Deploy jumped from the barriers well this afternoon and was settled in a good position in transit just behind That’s A Good Idea, Burning Passion and Alluvion and was offered a clear racing line upon arriving at the final straight.
Locking in a fierce sprint battle with The Virginian, the Fastnet Rock gelding was too good and maintained to the line to score the impressive half-length win.

Super Too has become the third horse to break a track record at Randwick this afternoon; storming home to win the final race on 2017 Warwick Stakes Day.
Blake Shinn immediately took up the running on Super Too after jumping well and the mare never appeared in doubt; opening a gap of more than five lengths before savaging to confirm the impressive win.
Last Witness flashed home late to finish second, while Gibraltar Girl rounded out the minors.
