The Gold Coast Magic Millions Day features a bumper 11 races offering over $13.5 million across the card and is headlined by two $3 million showdowns.

One of those is the Restricted Listed Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m) for the juveniles which has drawn a capacity final field.

Drawn gate 10 with Adam Hyeronimus to ride is the top elect, undefeated Justify colt Storm Boy donning the No. 1 saddlecloth.

After a successful Rosehill debut by over two lengths in early December he rose to Group 3 grade at Eagle Farm last time out and saluted as the odds-on elect by another commanding margin in Brisbane’s BJ McLachlan Stakes (1200m).

He is proven at the distance, from the right stable for a Magic Millions win, is full of early speed, had zero issues last start, and even from the wider alley looks hard to beat.

Storm Boy leads Magic Millions 2YO Classic betting at $2.40 through Ladbrokes.com.au.

There are three other runners under double-figures to add their name to the prestigious list of Magic Millions Classic winners on the Gold Coast this weekend including the early market mover Highness.

Tommy Berry partners the Michael Freedman-trained Snitzel colt from a favourable barrier four draw with the classy chestnut backed early in from $6.50 to $5.50 in the Magic Millions Classic odds online.

He broke his maiden status at his second start in mid-December taking out the Wyong Magic Millions Classic (1100m) before a Rosehill trail win on December 29 by nearly three lengths.

Highness is out to complete the interstate Magic Millions Classic double and there is money for him to do so.

The other best in betting are the consistent Spywire ($6.50) from the stables of Ciaron Maher & David Eustace, and the Tony & Calvin McEvoy-trained Arabian Summer ($7) chasing a third win on the trot.

Ace Sydney-based hoop James McDonald rides Spywire from barrier 12 with the up-and-coming Trapeze Artist colt having won two from three to date.

The youngster was a close second in the Wyong Magic Millions Classic before atoning here at the Gold Coast on January 6 over 1100m with a big 2.3 length win as the odds-on elect.

Arabian Summer meanwhile is the best fancied of the fillies in the race this summer with the daughter of Too Darn Hot in flying form.

Two back she won the Ballarat Magic Millions 2YO Classic by an easy 3.5 lengths before also taking out her Gold Coast lead-up a fortnight back by 2.3 lengths with 58kg.

Back against the boys here she drops to 55kg with Harry Coffey aboard in gate nine.

Other last start winners in the mix include the James Cummings-trained Parkour out wide (17) for the Godolphin stable and Wolfgang drawn better in gate two looking for win number three on the trot.

The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic 2024 is set to run as the Gold Coast Race 8 at 3:35pm (AEST) with full markets from Ladbrokes.com.au available by clicking here.
