The money has come for the fillies to go back-to-back in the 2025 Golden Slipper on Saturday with Tempted firming into favouritism for the world’s richest race for two-year-olds.

A capacity line-up of the season’s top juveniles will face off at Rosehill Gardens in the lucrative $5 million Group 1 Golden Slipper Stakes (1200m) this weekend and it is the James Cummings trained Reisling Stakes winner Tempted who sits top of the markets at Ladbrokes.com.au.
Original Golden Slipper odds on the final field had the Chris Waller colt Wodeton as the early favourite before a move on Godolphin’s classy daughter of Street Boss.
Tempted, to be ridden by two-time Golden Slipper winning jockey Blake Shinn from barrier one, is the new $5 Slipper favourite with the fillies having beaten home the boys last years with Lady Of Camelot (2024).
