This Saturday Moonee Valley racecourse is set to host the $200 000 Group 2 Sunline Stakes (1600m) as part of the coveted William Reid Stakes Day.
11 top mares have been nominated for the middle distance feature including the Pat Hyland-trained Zarita and Mick Price?s Inkster.
Five-year-old Inkster is having her first start since July last year when she won a 2400m handicap at Caulfield.
Trainer Tony Noonan has two nominees in the Sunline Stakes, Cheele?s Alibi and the classy Silvercitymiss.
Silvercitymiss is a new addition to Noonan?s stable after previously been trained by David Halliday, Roslyn Day and most recently Balfour.
Other highlight events lighting up the field at Saturday?s meeting including the highly anticipated $500 000 Group 1 William Reid Stakes (1200m) and the Group 2 Alister Clark Stakes.
The final field and barrier draw for the 2010 Sunline Stakes will be announced tomorrow.
