Twilight Payment is drawn in last year’s winning Melbourne Cup barrier (19) for the race’s 2017 winning trainer Joseph O’Brien.
Mer De Glace won the Caulfield Cup first-up down under, the Japanese-trained stayer in barrier two in the Melbourne Cup field in 2019 chasing the coveted Spring Cups’ double last completed by Ethereal (2001).
