The 2011 Victoria Derby results saw the Trent Busuttin-trained Kiwi raider Sangster ($12) become the second New Zealand three-year-old to win the race in as many years after the success of Lion Tamer (2010), jockey Hugh Bowman also going back-to-back in the classic. Sangster defeated Induna by a narrow margin with Sabrage finishing off the 2011 Victoria Derby trifecta.
